Code of Conduct for Voice Data Contributors on the TWB Voice Platform

Thank you for being part of our community of voice data contributors!

This Code of Conduct outlines the standards we expect all contributors to meet. Please read, understand, and agree to these standards before participating in our voice data collection and validation initiatives. If you don't follow the Code of Conduct, you might not be able to work with us again.

As a contributor to the TWB Voice platform, you agree to act legally, fairly, honestly, and with professionalism. You will also understand the context that we work in.

You will act legally, fairly and honestly in all of your work with us. By that, we mean:

  • Comply with all applicable laws
  • Treat everyone with courtesy, dignity, and respect
  • Show sensitivity and respect for all cultures

You will apply high professional standards. By that, we mean:

  • Record, transcribe and rate voice data with accuracy and integrity.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of your recordings, validations, and transcriptions.
  • Follow the guidelines provided as closely as possible and put in your best effort for each recording, validation, and transcription you choose to complete.
  • Meet deadlines and inform us promptly if you are unable to complete a task on time.
  • Work only within languages and areas you are competent in, preferably your native variant.
  • Treat all content from TWB and its partners as confidential, meaning you will not share, reassign, or outsource materials or information accessed through your work, nor provide your platform access to any other person.
  • Record your own voice, and not allow anyone to record on your behalf, while also ensuring that no other voices are noticeable in the background.
  • Not allow the voice of anyone under the age of 18 years or any other personally identifiable information to be heard or detectable in any way in the recordings you submit.
  • Inform us of any potential or actual conflicts of interest or Code of Conduct violations.
  • Not collect or share any personal information about other TWB Voice Platform users, including usernames, with others.
  • Not try to identify voice data contributed by others.
  • Not make public personally identifiable information of other contributors in the platform.
